Peoria man gets 150-year sentence for sexual abuse of stepdaughter, friend

Man also convicted of witness tampering, intimidation

A Peoria man was given three consecutive life sentences for sexually abusing his stepdaughter and her friend in Peoria and trying to get witnesses and the victim to testify for him.

Robert Allen Lee, 55, was charged with 16 crimes ranging from nine total counts of sexual conduct with a minor, one count each of conspiracy to influence a witness, attempt to influence a witness and conspiracy to commit tampering with a witness, and two counts of attempting to tamper with a witness, according to a press release from the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.

The incidents date to 2021, when the friend reported to the Peoria Police Department Lee had sexually abused her. While in custody, Lee made several calls to his wife, asking her to help him intimidate the victim and her family, and to encourage his stepdaughter to lie on his behalf, according to the press release.
