Peoria launches RV pilot program

Allows for longer parking on street

Peoria is addressing Recreational Vehicle parking on city and neighborhood streets.

The city has been getting comments from residents regarding the RV parking ordinance, with some asking for a longer time to park and others who feel some leave their vehicles on the street too long.

The city has created a pilot program to allow RV owners to apply for a 72-hour parking permit, running through Dec. 31, 2021. The permit is free and limited to four permits per household.
