Peoria is the place to ... grill?

City ranks near top of list for outside grilling

Peoria made the list as one of the best cities in the U.S. for outdoor grilling, and even leads the nation in low-cost chicken.

That’s according to Lawn Love, a landscaping and lawncare industry tracker, which recently released the results of its study that measured more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities to determine the “Best Cities for Outdoor Grilling.”

Peoria checked in at No. 13, and as a subset, the city ranked No. 3 for the lowest price per pound for chicken.
