Over a dozen inflatable waterslides, local food and beverage vendors, music by Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, and a fireworks show will be featured at Peoria’s Independence Day celebration on Tuesday, July 4.
The free, annual All-American Festival will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave.
“The All-American Festival is Peoria’s signature event of the year,” said Arts, Culture and Library Services Director Marylou Stephens. “It brings families from all over the west Valley and beyond to Peoria to celebrate Independence Day with good old-fashioned fun and fireworks, and of course excellent live music performances.”
The All-American Festival is a family-friendly event with over a dozen water inflatables including two 45-foot slides, live music, a cornhole tournament, food, drinks, and fireworks. Admission and parking are free during the event, which spans across the main stadium and Mariners fields at the Peoria Sports Complex.
This will be the third year that Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers will headline Peoria’s All-American Festival, with opening performances by the Azz Izz band.
Upgraded tickets options are on sale for the exclusive Colonnade VIP Experience, as well as a Roger Clyne meet-and-greet option featuring two Cancion tequila beverages and a private performance by Roger and a bandmate. Live music begins on the main stage at 6:15 p.m., and the fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:10 p.m., weather permitting. The fireworks show will also be streamed on Facebook @CityofPeoriaAz.
The All-American Festival will again feature a sensory room in the visitor’s clubhouse, which is a calming, sensory-friendly space for children, teens, and adults with sensory processing needs. Noise-canceling headphones, weighted blankets, plush chairs, and soft toys are available to ensure all attendees can enjoy the celebration. Sensory kits will also be available to check out during the event.
