Peoria fills leadership vacuum at city hall with three hires

Deputy city manager positions no longer vacant

A vacuum of leadership at the deputy city manager level in the city of Peoria’s upper ranks has been filled.

City staff recently announced that the three positions have been filled by Peoria CFO Kevin Burke, former Arizona Department of Child Services Director Mike Faust and Mesa Chief Innovation/Information Officer Travis Cutright.

Deputy Finance Director Sean Kindell, who oversees accounting, material management, payroll, and accounts payable will move in for Burke as the interim CFO.
