Peoria extends agreement for bus route

The city of Peoria is extending its agreement with the city of Phoenix for the continued operation of the 83rd Avenue fixed route bus service for fiscal year 2022.

The route extends into the Arrowhead area on its northern end.

Phoenix has submitted a contract amendment that estimates the cost for service for fiscal year 2022 at about $1.6 million, which is based on service in previous years.
