The Peoria City Council, at a public meeting Sept. 19, will consider a contract amendment to fund and replace the maintenance building at the Peoria Sports Complex.
The proposal will pay Haydon Building Corp. an amount not to exceed $6.3 million for the construction of a new sports complex maintenance building, secure maintenance equipment yard, as well as related road, utility and maintenance staff parking improvements located at 83rd Avenue and Stadium Way.
In October 2022, the city of Peoria approved an agreement with Haydon for the design of the replacement maintenance building at the Peoria Sports Complex.
