Peoria commission approves 5-story apartment near P83

Council to have final say on zoning case in August

The Peoria Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval of Converge at P83, a proposed 5-story, 195-unit, multifamily mixed-use project on the southwest corner of 75th Avenue and Paradise Lane.

City Council, on Aug. 17, will consider the P83 Planned Area Development located on a 4.18-acre site that includes 2,000 square feet of ground floor retail and a structured parking garage.

“This project is consistent with the previous two zonings. It is consistent with the voter approved general plan. It is consistent with motions and actions from city council,” said Commission Chair Clay Allsop.
