Peoria city manager gets raise

Council approves 7% merit increase

Peoria City Manager Jeff Tyne has received a raise and benefit increase.

The city council approved a 7% merit increase for a new annual base salary of $250,000, an annual increase in the employer contribution to the City Manager 401a savings plan in the amount of $954 and an increase of $100 per year in communication allowance.

Tyne has been with the city for 23 years and was appointed as city manager in June 2017.
