Peoria city hall evacuated due to bomb threat

No explosives were found

Peoria Police and members of the Peoria Fire-Medical Department are investigating a bomb threat at city hall, Dec. 11.

Police said the building was cleared and no bombs were located. However, the investigation is still ongoing.

The building, near 84th Avenue and Monroe Street, has been deemed safe and business is back to normal, police said.
