Peoria City Council to consider 2 contentious cases

Peoria City Council will consider two contentious cases at its public meeting, Feb. 16.

A developer has applied to rezone Camino a Lago Marketplace, at Lake Pleasant Parkway and Deer Valley Road to make way for a 280-unit gated, multifamily residential community on 14 acres of the property.

That project has encountered some opposition from nearby residents as the permitting process has progressed.
