Peoria city attorney gets raise

Hickman receives 7% merit increase, reason not made public

Peoria City Attorney Vanessa Hickman has received a raise and a benefit increase.

The city council approved a 7% merit increase for a new annual base salary of $201,267, and a 2% increase in the employer contribution to her 401a savings plan.

Ms. Hickman initially contracted with the city May 1, 2018.
