Peoria city attorney gets 12% raise

Officials: Increase is commensurate with other cities

Peoria City Attorney Vanessa Hickman has received a 12% raise.

The Peoria City Council approved a 5% market wage adjustment, 3% cost of living adjustment and a 4% performance based merit increase for a new annual base salary of $225,419.

Previously her annual base salary was $201,267.
