Peoria buys land for $90,000 to expand wastewater facility

The city of Peoria is purchasing land so it can expand its Apollo Sewer Lift Station facility.

The city of Peoria is buying land so it can expand its Apollo Sewer Lift Station facility at 97th and Peoria Avenues.

Council recently approved a purchase order for no more than $90,100 to expand the facility for the property rights adjacent to the current facility from MHC Apollo Village LLC.

The purchase agreement includes fee acquisition and an exclusive utility and maintenance easement area.
