Police identify woman killed in collision near Bell Road

Sandra Williams, 46, has been identified as the pedestrian killed earlier this week while crossing midblock near 32nd Street and Bell Road, police said Friday.
Williams died at a hospital Dec. 30 after she was struck by a vehicle just before 5 a.m.
Preliminary information suggests the woman was crossing from the west side of 32nd Street, midblock, and was struck by a vehicle traveling south on 32nd Street, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

Sandra Williams, 46, has been identified as the pedestrian killed earlier this week while crossing midblock near 32nd Street and Bell Road, police said Friday.
Williams died at a hospital Dec. 30 after she was struck by a vehicle just before 5 a.m.
Preliminary information suggests the woman was crossing from the west side of 32nd Street, midblock, and was struck by a vehicle traveling south on 32nd Street, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
The driver involved was not injured, remained at the scene and was evaluated. Impairment is not believed to be a factor, police said.
