Pedestrian dies after driver hits him intentionally with vehicle: police

Police detectives are searching for the suspect who used a vehicle to intentionally hit a 35-year-old man who was walking Friday night along East Thomas Road, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 27 near 16th Street and Thomas Road where Phoenix officers arrived and found Ethan Jaaziel Felix with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to a release.

“The initial investigation revealed that the victim was intentionally struck with a vehicle driven by an unknown suspect. The suspect took off from the area after a short period of time,” police stated in the release.

Police detectives are searching for the suspect who used a vehicle to intentionally hit a 35-year-old man who was walking Friday night along East Thomas Road, authorities said.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and ask anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
