The owners of Pedal Haus Brewery announced the completion of major renovations at its Tempe location, 730 S. Mill Ave., which is the brand’s original restaurant that opened in 2015.
“Having recently moved our production to a larger space in Chandler we are now completing our fourth renovation since opening almost eight years ago,” said Julian Wright, founder of Pedal Haus Brewery, in a press release.
“It’s always exciting to give the space a fresh look and we enjoy watching the reaction from regulars who have been coming here for years. We’re looking forward to hosting a party to introduce the new space to our regulars and new friends.”
The $400,000 investment provided enhancements both inside and out. The most notable change is that the brewing operation housed at the Tempe location has been moved to another location in Chandler.
Due to demand and internal growth, Pedal Haus has invested in a new brewing facility, leaving open space for 50 additional seats where the tanks, casks and equipment were previously, the release stated.
Additionally, a new performance stage has been built that will feature weekly live music alongside an expanded special events area now available to be used for private parties. This location is also boasts a remodeled and refreshed outdoor beer garden with cabana and table seating.
A new 16’x16’ foot mural that was designed by Wright and graphic designer, Scott Garrison, now covers one of the exterior walls. The ASU-themed painting, featuring the Sun Devils’ Sparky mascot was executed by local Phoenix artist, Tim Medina and is a tribute to the local university.
Wright is an ASU alumni and Pedal Haus Tempe is proud to be the official away-game viewing location for the sixth year, the release stated.
To celebrate the unveiling of the renovated space, Pedal Haus is hosting a “Haus Warming” party on Friday, Aug. 25 from 4-10 p.m. The event will include performances from three bands, the first 200 guests to RSVP will receive their first beer for $1, raffle prizes and more.
VIP tickets will be available for $50 and give guests access to a private buffet, open bar, reserved seating, raffle tickets to win tickets to ASU football games, a front-row view of the bands and Pedal Haus swag. Visit Eventbrite for tickets.
Pedal Haus also has locations in downtown Chandler and downtown Phoenix. Since opening, the brewery has won more than 40 medals and awards including a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2018 and Best Brewery in the United States at the 2019 Copa Cerveza de Americas.
