Peach Mania, the annual celebration of Willcox peaches featuring sweet and juicy tree-ripened peaches, is coming this month and in August.
This year the festivities will run the weekends of July 16-17, July 23-24, July 30-31, Aug. 6-7 and Aug. 13-14 at Apple Annie’s, 2081 W. Hardy Road, Willcox.
Peach Mania starts with a peaches & pancakes breakfast each Saturday and Sunday. Peach lovers will delight in sweet, tree-ripened peaches, peach pies and peach fudge.
Peaches & pancakes breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Orchard Grill, and apple-smoked burger lunches are served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can walk out into the orchards and pick a perfect peach right off the tree.
Apple Annie’s is a family destination in southern Arizona offering pick-your-own fruit and veggies at 4,300 feet elevation of the Sulphur Springs Valley.
Apple Annie’s is open daily for picking. Parking and admission are free. Take I-10 to Willcox exit 340, turn onto Ft. Grant Road for 5.5 miles, turn right on Nickles Road and follow signs.
