Jamie Pagliarulo said she occasionally gets to tell students stories of her experiences playing soccer at the highest levels.
But not all her students are impressed.
“I get humbled now by 7-year-olds on a daily basis,” Pagliarulo said, laughing. “I do tell some stories to connect with some of the older students. They have the mentality to understand what it means to be playing in front of tens of thousands of people. But the younger ones don’t care about your resume — they’re not easily impressed.”
