Paws 4 Life is a 100% non-profit and volunteer organization. We have worked diligently since 2006 by graduating service and therapy dogs. We also have beginners and intermediate classes to keep Fido and owner happy and working together.

The Paws 4 Life Spring Fling will be held 2:30-6:30 p.m. March 19 at the Moose Lodge, 350 W. 16th Ave. in Apache Junction. There will be music, arts and crafts by a local artist. We will be holding a 50/50 and a raffle with amazing prizes. A spaghetti lunch/dinner will be served and is included in the price of the $10 admission.

Calling all non-food vendors: Spaces are free. Call Barb at 480-550-1946 or Tuni at 480-288-5174. Limited amount of space available.

Come meet the Apache Junction Mounted Rangers. They will be there to help support us and they will be guarding the “hot seat.” Put your significant other in the hot seat make them pay their “fine” to get out. All in fun.

Tickets are just $10 and includes entry, entertainment and your meal. Come out and meet the trainers and the service dogs.

These events are what keep us going. The dogs get paid with praise; and us humans get paid by watching you and your Fido learn and succeed. Please bring dog, cat, horse or people food to donate.

For tickets please call Barb 480-288-5174 or Tuni 480-288-5174; all tickets must be sold by March 17 or you will not be getting a meal.

Editor’s note: Ame Flores is a volunteer with Paws 4 Life.
