The ageless Paul McCartney, who turned 83 last month, has announced new tour dates for 2025.
The former Beatle on Thursday on his website promoted 19 North American tour dates starting Sept. 29 in Palm Desert, California. While the first four dates of the run, in fact, feature the Southwest with stops also in Las Vegas, Albuquerque and Denver, Arizona is absent from the trek at this point.
McCartney has performed in Arizona nine times since returning to the road in a big way with his celebrated world tour in 1989-90. He was in town as recently as 2019 when his Freshen Up tour saw him play a 38-song set at Talking Stick Resort Arena (now PHX Arena) downtown.
