Paul E. Cook

Paul E. Cook, born February 26, 1919 in Lincoln, NE, passed on August 22, 2017, living in Sun City, AZ. Paul lived 40 years in the Denver area with Leone Cook, mother of his three children. Then was widowed by Bette Rogers, then by Crystal Pearl Carnal. In Albuquerque, NM he met and married Sarah Duggins, his surviving wife. His son, Gordon, passed in 2015. Surviving daughters are Jeannine Frederick and Joyce Wismer-Huffman. Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.After serving in World War II, Paul was employed for 30 years as head of the marketing dept. for Denver Equipment Co. who later merged with Joy Manufacturing. While in Denver, he was active in his church and in Kiwanis. Paul and Sarah traveled all over the USA for about 10 years before moving to Sun City, participating in comedy in the Albuquerque Senior Olympics and in the Surprise Senior Idol Show. Paul loved to entertain with Sarah, in funny presentations he composed.Everyone admired his positive attitude and contagious spirit. His burial is scheduled at the Arizona Memorial Cemetery for Veterans on September 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
