GLENDALE - Patricia Ruth Griffin, 76, died on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at her home is Glendale. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., and moved to Arizona in 1958. She is survived by her four children, Chris and Andy Czarnecki, Linda and Bob Miles, Paul and Araceli Hudson and Jeff and Julie Hudson; and by her three stepchildren, Dixie Griffin, Michael and Darlene Griffin and Tony and Deann Griffin. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and was preceded in death by her husband Jules P. Griffin and her granddaughter, Sydney Jean Hudson. Patricia loved her summers at the beach, her garden and her dog Tanner. She had a green thumb and a passion for her projects and design. "Gramma" loved making memories with her grandchildren. Viewing was from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 16 at Messinger Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11:30 a.m., St. Patrick Catholic Church, 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley or The Sydney Hudson Foundation (10444 E. Corrine Dr. Scottsdale, AZ 85259).
