Lake Pleasant Parkway to get upgrades next year

The city of Peoria recently approved funds to improve a portion of Lake Pleasant Parkway.

The council approved a contract with Nesbitt Contracting Co. to mill and overlay the road from Beardsley Road north to 95th Avenue for $1.89 million.

Funding for the project was allocated in the fiscal year 2021 capital budget.
