Sun City West Owner Members will be asked during March’s Governing Board Election if they want the Recreation Centers of Sun City West to continue enforcing CC&Rs related to street parking.
The Rec Centers currently enforces RV, boat, trailer, utility and other long-term vehicle parking on our streets. The state Legislature passed a new law this year that will remove that authority, unless residents reaffirm it.
Without a positive vote by a quorum of members, the Rec Centers and its CC&R Department will have no jurisdiction over whether RVs and other large vehicles can remain parked on the streets indefinitely. More details will come on the election.
