Parents to Chandler Schools: Too long to place principal on leave

No one spoke at the Feb. 14 Chandler Unified School District Governing Board meeting to advocate for the Riggs Elementary School principal.

But there were a pair of public speakers at the meeting who said CUSD put that principal on leave far too late.

Two speakers said Riggs principal Jamie Lander should have been removed from her position, at least temporarily, as a result of her actions related to accusations against her son for teen violence and threats.
