Paradise Valley's Senior Postal Clerk Linda Pennington to retire

Posted

After more than 21 years with the Town of Paradise Valley, Senior Postal Clerk Linda Pennington has decided to retire to spend time with family.

Pennington has brought a smiling face and a warm greeting to all who come to Town Hall — not only residents, but their beloved pets as well, often greeting them by name, according to Paradise Valley’s Town Manager’s Weekly Update July 21.

Her love for Paradise Valley and its pets was evidenced by all and she will greatly miss seeing the residents she has come to know during her time here, the newsletter stated.

Pennington’s last day in the Post Office at Town Hall will be July 26 and the town encourages all residents to come by and wish her the best.

Pennington will be impossible to replace and missed by many of the town’s four-legged residents, including Town Hall’s own doodle Cosmo, who loved to visit with Linda during the lunch hour every day, Town Manager’s Weekly Update shared.

The Town of Paradise Valley thanks Pennington for the joy she has brought to Paradise Valley.
