Paradise Valley Town Council takes another look at SmokeTree

Some concerns with density, floor area ratio

SmokeTree Resort and Bungalows’ special use permit application was reviewed again by Paradise Valley Town Council following approval by the Planning Commission.

The project will redevelop and transform the resort into an 82-room boutique hotel with meeting rooms and restaurants. The restaurants include an all-day market bistro, a dinner-only fine dining restaurant known as the French Cowboy, and a speakeasy.

Another Town Council study session will be held Oct. 26 to answer remaining questions. The public hearing is scheduled for Nov. 9.
