Paradise Valley residents are ‘not alone’ with police department program

You Are Not Alone offers regular contact, welfare checks from police

As a small town, Paradise Valley offers special programs for its residents that are uncommon in larger cities. One such program is You Are Not Alone, organized by the Paradise Valley Police Department.

“We do a lot for our residents. With YANA, we also have Project Lifesaver which helps those who are having a mental cognitive decline. Our town is unique with these offerings for residents,” said Jimmy Phan, the community resource officer responsible for YANA.

YANA was designed to make elderly or infirmed residents of the town feel safe and confident living on their own, but it’s also open to residents of any age who want routine contact.
