Paradise Valley contracts AT&T for 911 calls, services

Town of Paradise Valley council members all agreed to award a contract to AT&T Corporation for its 911 call-handling equipment and professional services.

During the Feb. 23 Town Council meeting, council member Mark Stanton made a motion, seconded by council member Anna Thomasson, authorizing the town manager, Jill Keimach, to enter an agreement with AT&T Corporation for NG911 Call-Handling Equipment and professional services, and waive the 14-day waiting period to execute the agreement, according to a staff report.

No further discussion occurred as members unanimously voted in favor of proceeding with the contracted emergency call-handling equipment and services through the third-party agency, AT&T.
