Paradise Valley candidates make the ballot for mayor, Town Council
The primary election is on Aug. 2
The filing deadline for Paradise Valley candidates passed at 5 p.m. on Monday.
In the end, several made the ballot for mayor and Town Council and will face voters on Aug. 2.
Candidates for mayor are incumbent Jerry Bien-Willner, who has served in the position since 2018 before being reelected in 2020, and current Councilmember Julie Pace.

In the end, several made the ballot for mayor and Town Council and will face voters on Aug. 2.
Candidates for mayor are incumbent Jerry Bien-Willner, who has served in the position since 2018 before being reelected in 2020, and current Councilmember Julie Pace.
Four council candidates also made the cut. Current council members Ellen Andeen, Paul Dembow and Vice Mayor Anna Thomasson will run for re-election in August. All three have expiring terms this year. Christine Labelle was the only newcomer to make the ballot.
Voters can only select one mayoral candidate and three council candidates when they go to vote on Aug. 2 in the primary election.
The last day to register to vote is July 4, with early voting beginning July 6.
