Paradise Valley candidates allege political harassment, file police reports

Two candidates seeking seats on the Paradise Valley Town Council in the upcoming election have filed police reports for alleged harassment and theft.

The reports, filed in June with Paradise Valley Police Department and obtained through a public record’s request, come from Paradise Valley candidates Christine Labelle and Ellen Andeen.

On June 24, Labelle filed a report of eight counts of theft, alleging eight of her political campaign signs had been stolen from around the community. Labelle reports total damages of $640, at $80 per sign.
