Paradise Valley approves purchase of several police radios

The Town of Paradise Valley recently authorized during a Sept. 8 meeting an agreement with Motorola Solutions for the purchase of police radios, which are used by officers regularly as a primary method of communication with dispatch and other officers.

According to a staff report, the police department budgeted $218,500 to replace radios during fiscal year 2022-23. Eleven police vehicle radios and 19 portable radios were approved for about $215,775.
