Palo Verde Patchers host 10th annual quilt show

The Palo Verde Patchers’ 10th anniversary Quilt Show “Legacy of Quilts,” 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25 and 26 at Palm Ridge Rec Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Drive, Sun City West. The event includes the quilt show, boutique, antique quilt walk, spring bling exhibit, raffle and lunch. Entry fee is $3.

Attendees can check out Brenda Archambault’s quilt, “The Guilford Green,” which is currently on display at the Sun City West Library.

The Palm Ridge Center offers three pools (two indoor and one outdoor) a large fitness center, pickleball courts, indoor walking track, ballroom and clubrooms.

RCSCW has made arrangements with qualified volunteers to present group equipment demonstrations monthly, at each of the Sun City West Fitness Centers. These presentations are appropriate for individuals new to the community or new to using a Fitness Center. Exercise professionals will provide a half-hour tour of the facility, demonstrating basic usage of various machines. Group size is limited. There is no need to register, but attendance is on a first-come, first served basis.
