Zero Waste Day will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, offering residents of Tempe and Guadalupe a way to recycle items that cannot be disposed of curbside.
Items can be brought to the Tempe Fire Training Center, 1340 E. University Drive, directly behind the Household Products Collection Center.
The event supported by Keep Tempe Beautiful provides residents an opportunity to clean out attics, basements, closets and garages of unwanted items and properly dispose of household hazardous wastes.
