As a longtime restaurateur from South Korea, Daniel Chong has loads of experience in the food industry. He has owned restaurants from New York City to New Jersey to Arizona. So, when the opportunity arose for him to open a new spot, he knew exactly what he wanted to serve.
“I was always determined to open a Korean restaurant,” Chong said. “However, Korean cuisine is admittedly still only beginning to gain popularity in the United States.”
He had the idea of serving Korean barbecue bowls in a build-your-own style.
