Override could be on November ballot for Peoria Unified

Potential measure would fund people, programs in the district

The Peoria Unified governing board is considering either a continuation of the district’s 13% maintenance and operations override or a 15% override, which would put the district at the same level as other school districts in the region.

An override funds positions and programs that might not be possible through annual funding that is received each year from the state of Arizona.

The board will consider resolutions March 27 that could put one of these options on the November general election ballot to be voted on by the electorate within the PUSD borders.
