The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight intermittent closures lasting up to 15 minutes on east- and west-bound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway between Country Club Drive and Gilbert Road in Mesa. The work from 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, to 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, is for overhead power line installation.
Drivers should expect slowing and stopped traffic during the overnight restrictions. Stay alert and be prepared for delays. Watch for workers and equipment in all work zones, according to a release.
