Over Easy raises more than $12,000 for #LovePup Foundation

Posted

Over Easy raised $12,697 for the #LovePup Foundation through a year-long fundraising effort that concluded in December 2023.

Throughout 2023, Over Easy supported the local pet rescue organization by offering a variety of seasonal items on their menu. For every seasonal dish purchased, the restaurant donated $1 back to the foundation, resulting in a substantial contribution at the end of the year.

From the Blake’s Shortcake featuring two house-made biscuits with fresh strawberry compote to the savory Johnjay’s Black Bean Tostadas with crispy tortillas, black beans and house ranchero, each dish was inspired by the #LovePup founders, Johnjay and Blake Van Es.

“We are so grateful for our partnership with Over Easy,” says #LovePup founder Blake Van Es. “Their commitment to giving back to the community is second to none. #LovePup is greatly benefiting from this very generous donation, and we will continue to work on keeping homeless dogs off our streets.”

The funds raised by Over Easy will be allocated to furthering #LovePup’s mission of helping homeless dogs in the area find their forever homes and educating pet parents on responsible pet ownership.

“The immense support from our community has allowed us to contribute over $12,000 to #LovePup, reinforcing our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of homeless dogs,” says Brian Terpay, COO of Over Easy. “This collaboration reflects our belief that giving back is an integral part of our identity, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to create positive change within the communities we serve.”
