School districts in the Southwest Valley are emphasizing their safety protocols following the third-largest school shooting in U.S. history in Uvalde, Texas on May 24.

Two teachers and 19 students between the ages of nine and 11 years old were killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, by an 18-year-old gunman armed with an AR-15.
