Opstein: This local news outlet is really ‘thoughtful,’ ‘balanced’

Just a moment in the midst of so much news and so many challenges in our society, I thought I’d let you know that the Daily Independent does a marvelous job of presenting meaningful information with background in a balanced and thoughtful manner.

We often say that we don’t know how valuable something is until it’s gone. I hope your publication remains strong and intelligent for a long time.
