Opening Day for Glendale Arrowhead Little League coming Saturday

Opening Day for Arrowhead Little League is this weekend.

Everything from team photos to games themselves get underway on Saturday, March 4 at Foothills Sports Complex, 19073 N. 57th Ave., in Glendale. Pictures start at 8:40 a.m., the first game starts at 9:15 a.m. when the Bobcats meet the Bighorns, on Field 2, and the banner parade takes place at noon.

The day will include vendors, bounce houses, inflatable slides, activities, parades, music, food and special guests in attendance.

Gabe’s Grill will be on hand to grill up grub, from hot dogs to ribs. There will also be a Mexican cuisine food truck on site.

Arrowhead Little League is a nonprofit that provides instructional and competitive baseball to boys and girls from T-ball up through high school.
