One suspect captured in road rage incident along Highway 87

Others believed to have eluded searchers

One suspect has been captured in Thursday's road rage incident along the Beeline Highway.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officers arrested one suspect in a road rage incident that had a five- to eight-mile section of State Route 87 (Beeline Highway) closed much of Thursday afternoon, Jan. 16.

Two others believed to be in the suspect vehicle were not located, according to DPS spokesman Bart Graves.

The incident began with a hit and run collision on State Route 202 (Red Mountain) near Scottsdale Road about 10:15 a.m., Graves said.
