One arrest, many loud voices at East Valley student protest

Hundreds of students walked out of Hamilton High School on Jan. 30 in opposition to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and President Trump’s immigration enforcement and detention policies.

The walkout was tied to a national campaign known as “ICE Out of Everywhere,” and a national general strike day, which called for American people to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations and broader federal immigration policies.

The Jan. 30 Hamilton protest followed one at Chandler High School on Monday, Jan. 26.
