Omni Scottsdale Resort begins renovation

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia announced the upcoming renovation of its guest rooms and meeting spaces.

The phased renovation begins with the resort’s 293 guest rooms and 38 luxury suites, drawing inspiration from the concept of an oasis in the desert. The re-imagination includes new entry door finishes, secured with RFID, new lighting and airy drapery, refreshed paint palettes, new furniture including sofas with cactus silk pillows, coffee tables, and Spanish-inspired desk chairs, homemade ceramics and fresh artwork, new decorative bedding, LED mirrors and new bathroom accessories, according to a press release.

A destination for luxury, romance, relaxation and recreation, the resort’s multimillion dollar transformation draws inspiration from quintessential Spanish architecture and the surrounding desert landscape, the release stated. The relaxed yet inspired ambiance of this reimagined destination will create an ideal backdrop for getaways, corporate meetings, weddings and group events.

“This reimagining of our guest rooms and meeting spaces is just another example of how we are constantly evolving and improving to meet the needs of our guests,” General Manager Rob Goins said in the release. “We’ve always been a sought-after destination for getaways and events. By breathing new life into these spaces we hope to further enhance the experiences had here.”

Drawing inspiration from an Andalusian Courtyard, more than 100,000 square feet of meeting areas will be redesigned to feature a pre-function space. The individual meeting rooms extending from this space will offer color schemes and furnishings maintaining the authentic Spanish inspiration that guests have come to seek.

The updated meeting space features also include new carpeting throughout all spaces, new wall coverings and paint creating a contrast between light walls and dark ceilings, and new artwork added throughout all function areas along with fresh banquet chairs and tables.
