Mark Walters opened Living Canvas Tattoos a little more than 30 years ago, paving the way for more shops to open in Tempe and establishing a business that continues to value its customers and artists.
The city of Tempe celebrated Living Canvas Tattoos Day on Sunday, Sept. 29, with Tempe Mayor Corey Woods heading into the shop for a tattoo to mark the occasion.
Woods’ visit represents not only the city’s commitment to its local businesses but also the longstanding relationship owner Mark Walters has built with the city over the years.
