A man with burn injuries was found dead Monday morning inside the garage of a Scottsdale home, police said.
Authorities are investigating at the home near 135th Way and Sorrel Lane.
Police received the call about 10:45 a.m. May 22 and stated in a release that the Scottsdale Fire Department “quickly suppressed” the fire, which did not extend to other homes.
The man had burn injuries, and the fire department, police detectives and Maricopa County medical examiner are continuing to investigate.
The man was pronounced dead at 11:15 a.m., and authorities are notifying next of kin.
