Last April, Arizona Federal Credit Union’s members voted to approve a change in charter, switching the financial institution from a federally-chartered credit union to state-chartered. With this change, they removed “Federal” from their name.
“This theatre is home to so many amazing memories for Arizonans, from seeing a favorite band to even graduating college, it’s hosted a variety of joyous occasions and we are so excited to continue to have a part in that magic,” Ronald L. Westad, Arizona Financial Credit Union president and CEO, shared in a news release.
Upcoming performances at the venue include Chris Rock (Aug. 28), The Doobie Brothers (Oct. 4), and Van Morrison (Oct. 12). The theater opened in 2002 as Dodge Theatre, and became Comerica Theatre in 2010.
