Novess: Response to Reilly letter — ‘pure projection’
The Oct. 27 Madison Square Garden event for Donald Trump reminded me of 1930s Germany.
MAGA has to have a boogie man to win elections. At Madison Square, Garden, they went after Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico, which has sent youth who have fought for the United States of America. How many soldiers have been killed in the line of duty from that island?
Brian Reilly’s opinion piece is pure projection. Nazi Germany didn’t like liberals and intellectuals. They went after scientists. They went after history. They banned school books. They went after gay people. They went after Jewish people. They went after minorities.

I can list all the similarities with today’s MAGA party, but I won’t. It’s sad to say the Republican party is not the party of my father anymore, it’s a MAGA extremist right-wing party. Sad.
