By Gail Christianer, Northwest Valley Connect Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteering is good for your heath, according to the medical experts, and Northwest Valley Connect is asking the public to devote some of their summer time to providing transportation to those in need.
You can improve your life as well as make someone who needs a ride joyful.
Residents can volunteer at Northwest Valley Connect in several ways.
Driver: Just four hours a week makes a real difference in the number of seniors we can help.
Ride Facilitator: You are the problem solver helping Northwest Valley seniors who need transportation figure out what’s available.
Project assistant: Northwest Valley Connect always needs help with outreach.
